Initiation of the

New American Patriot Party

All my conscious life, especially my adult life, I have known we were and have been at war. Now that it is so plain to so many, it also feels too late, though it never is. The war is just as Marx and many others have stated and predicted and declared repeatedly: it is between the workers, who I will refer to as our allies, and the oligarchy, who I will refer to as the enemy.

When I had begun to write, I had simply wanted to address the rapidly intensifying and ever-present tremor stirring the so-called “great American melting pot” toward what now appears inevitable: revolution. Yet the timing of this US American revolution is truly unprecedented on the world stage and in history:

    •    The US is enormous, yet its populations are condensed and somewhat segregated
    •    The means of communication are global and have global impact
    •    All information is accessible, yet all information is manipulatable

Unlike the US Civil War of 1861, the interests of US American peoples is not so clearly divided by territorial separation. Unlike the Civil Rights Riots of 1968, there is no masking from the world the true lives of average, everyday US American citizens. And, unlike any time in the history of the world, any information can be presented to anyone, true or false.

What’s more is these facts are not only beneficial to the enemy, they are manufactured by the enemy. Hold no confusion: every facet of modern US American living is designed as a weapon by the enemy to confuse, separate, and destroy us and our allies. Mortgages and loans, insurance, financially tiered schooling, tax allocation, corporation rights, news media, voting structure, legislative and electoral processes – every, single thing can be bought and controlled in the US with enough time, effort, and most importantly: MONEY. And, once something is acquired under our current economic structure, it is enforced as the responsibility of the proprietor to generate infinite growth and revenue.

When one’s money becomes a stronger representation of one’s power within a democracy than one’s own vote, then it is the responsibility and requirement of us and our allies to reshape the methods of democratic control! We are once again at a crossroads of destiny over the issue that led to the creation of the United States all those years ago: taxation without representation. When substantial percentages of taxed wealth are awarded to entities who work against the common interests of US American peoples, we are facing taxation without representation. When predatory organizations like Wal-Mart and Uber can receive SNAP payments from their own employees, we are facing taxation without representation.  When lobbyists and government members can accept high paying jobs at corporations who received funding from taxes due to their lobbying and official actions, we are facing taxation without representation. And, when real, US American patriots face taxation without representation, we resist; we stand our ground; we fight back! We dump their tea in the harbor. We repeatedly let the enemy leader know that we will not stand for it, and when the enemy resists, we do what we must to regain our democratic power and freedom.

As such, the New American Patriot Party proposes that any corporation, conglomeration, or individual who receives substantial tax dollars ought to have its actions voted on by the US American public. Likewise, any individual, business, corporation, entity, or family of same controlling a significant percent of USD should also be subject to public votes on its actions. There is no amount of voting for representatives in a bought and sold oligarchy that will provide the economic relief needed by average, everyday citizens.  To bridge this gap in power, we have designed these demands to be both self-evident and scalable.

Our Demands (link)

These demands are designed to, regardless of the incumbent head of state, ensure the direct connection of the each US American citizen with the political, social, and industrial direction of their country:

The core tenant of any democracy is the value of the individual’s power over the guidance of the territory they spawned in. This is predominantly achieved through voting processes afforded to each citizen. However, even as a consistent element in the forefront of factorial industrialization, the US’s technological advancements are never used to industrialize access to the democratic process or the power thereof. While our votes have become semi-electronic, they are not tied to the political, social, or financial direction of the country with the robust immediacy computerization grants. Time and again, the wealthiest of corporate entities invents and proliferates often oppressive technologies to monitor, analyze, and generate revenue. Yet day after day, decade after decade, these technologies stifle democracy rather than promote it.  When we ask ourselves how our votes can gain the power of immense wealth, it becomes clear that the answer is to subject the control and manipulation of that wealth directly to the vote, and to register every citizen to participate automatically.

What’s more is the prioritization of the democratic power of the individual: we must remove every barrier between one’s vote and one’s cast. When every person and business is subject to the resources controlled by the enemy, it is imperative that the enemy’s ability to interrupt the casting of votes be completely nullified. There can be no stripping of pay, privileges, or status for anyone who abandons their work duty to cast their vote. To that point, we must reshape our view of violence and crime to recognize the enemy for the threat they are: creating barriers of any kind between an individual and the ability to cast their vote is violence and should be treated as the most heinous of criminal offences.

Furthermore, we must strengthen the power of the individual’s vote by implementing super majority, ranked choice voting in which presidential candidates must obtain 70% of registered votes in a series of polls where the lowest voted candidate is eliminated until only two candidates remain. This would eliminate internal party competition and increase the scope of issues a party could address through its candidacy tickets. It additionally gives each citizen maximum expression of democratic will over the incumbent head of state.

However, we do not want to delegate all our democratic power to a single individual or a single process. On the contrary! We must take direct democratic control over the spending of collected taxes. While it is clear taxes must be levied for the physical and social health of a nation, it is the right of every citizen to have say in how their hard-earned dollars are spent. I know of no working-class person who is satisfied with the current direction of tax allocation; we must acknowledge that the representative state of our democracy cannot satisfy every aspect of resolving our voting power into action.

To truly wield that power, we must have a deep, thorough understanding of it. We must know how it came to be, who has died and sacrificed to grant it to us, and why the enemy is so desperate to take it away. Please understand: they do not want to take away your vote, they want to take away your power, and any power is only truly useful when one has knowledge of how to use it. As such, it is vital to be skeptical and wary of any person or party who encourages you to know less or seek information from fewer sources. Learn everything you can about everything you can. Be more informed than necessary.

The enemy would have you believe that some knowledge is intrinsically harmful which is simply not true. Even the most dangerous information cannot, itself, do harm. When we consider this, we are left to ask ourselves why the enemy would brand any information as damaging, and what actions they hope the instilled fear will guide us toward.

When the enemy tells us some information is harmful (and it will always be the enemy claiming this), they do so with full sincerity: the information is harmful to them. All warfare is governed by intel. Rest assured, any information the enemy has steered you away from, they have already consumed; how else could they know of its damages? And, with that in mind:

If the enemy has already consumed the supposedly harmful knowledge, what damage has it done them? What right do they have to prevent us from opting into that damage if it is so survivable and unimpactful? How can we know that, like with so many things in every part of life, that damage is anything but a necessity to move us forward and make us stronger?

Likewise, if the enemy has not consumed the supposedly harmful knowledge, how can they know that the knowledge is damaging?

I’ll say it again: distrust those who would steer you away from learning: their goal is to maintain power over you. What’s more is that we can easily see that knowledge of the dangers of a thing is more valuable than ignorance of it. Afterall, knowing that water can drown you does not remove your need to drink it, neither does knowing that fire can burn you prevent you from needing its warmth.

And when we recognize that the pursuit of knowledge is thus intrinsically beneficial to us, it is easy to recognize that knowledge must be free and freely shared. For the USA to maintain its self-image as the land of opportunity, its citizens must notice that all opportunity is dependent on knowledge. An opportunity without the knowledge to take advantage of it is no opportunity at all.

With this understanding, we can notice that the institution of privatized education is in turn intrinsically harmful to democratic society. While there is fairness in private wealth granting luxuries, the privatization of education is the privatization of the best and brightest educators! We cannot provide all US American children every opportunity to succeed when those opportunities are locked behind an insurmountable paywall. That is, the privatization of education is the privatization of opportunity and thus a direct contradiction to the unalienable right of the pursuit of happiness.

Likewise, the privatization of medicine and health care is a direct contradiction to the unalienable right to health and the privatization of incarceration a direct contradiction to the pursuit of liberty. There is absolutely no value provided to the US American public and its welfare by the privatization of these fields and worse, there is boundless evidence of the ongoing and unfettered damage caused by this privatization. Like with education, the enemy’s goal in restricting access to these essential rights is the reduction, limitation, and ultimately elimination of opportunities.

This attack on opportunities is and has been the primary weapon of the enemy since the inception of the United States and is ingrained and enshrined into the very fabric of our country. Even so, real, US American patriots have always fought to manifest the vision of the melting pot into a reality. There have always been those who, even in the face of ostracization and isolation, stood against the enemy and won. To oppose the enemy, we must resist and depose their attacks on our opportunities. Every dollar the enemy is allowed to freely spend without our direction is a direct attack on our opportunities and thus a direct attack on our rights and our lives.

I will say it plainly: they are killing us, and they are doing it on purpose. That is the end-result of stealing our opportunities: we die, and they generate revenue from our deaths.

Finally, I must say, if our deaths have become a matter of policy, then what need have we of police policy officers? I say none: we must replace them with a highly qualified network of public servants whose job title is Public Servant. The bravest and brightest of them will be eligible to become armed heroes and protectors of public welfare in the way the policy officers of today would like to be perceived, and certainly the very best of policy officers are heroes indeed! As such, we will move democratically to select the best of the policy officers to lead the new PSHN both locally and federally. While some members of the police force are elected, the time of enforcing policy is over: it is time to protect the public as mission number one as it is so clearly stated in the constitution.

And that public service attitude extends beyond the PSHN: the PSHN (no different than the existing police force) is a reflection of our values as a society. As a proclaimed member of the New American Patriot Party, the source of our patriotism is public service. Our declaration of patriotism is a reclamation of the flag I’ve been told all my life to be proud of. Our status as US Americans is announcement that we insist on living in the country we’ve been raised to believe exists: one of general welfare, not rugged individualism, the greatest country on earth. A country where neighbor is not synonymous with nuisance. A country where it is normal to help each other.

We of the New American Patriot party accept the enemy’s centuries old declaration of war and choose to fight. While protesting is important, nothing is more important than promoting the welfare of the weakest members of our party! Never forget that the party is everyone who isn’t the oligarchy in direct control of the oppression of us and our allies. When the weakest of us is strong, we become unstoppable.

That is: volunteer at your local shelter or food pantry. Bring toys to orphans and children’s hospitals. Bring cans of food to people who need them. Educate those who do not have access to great educators. Promote free medicine programs in your area. When there are no existing programs to help those around you, find out what you can do to start them:

Spend your TIME helping other people. When you only spend your money, the enemy is ultimately in control; every single one of them is a philanthropist, and until our aforementioned demands are a matter of law, we can’t afford to cede the smallest amount of control.
